Multicultural Learning Groups
(MLG)
The MLG program provides English language
tuition through social and recreational activities for elderly
individuals from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. The
program was established in 1988 and provides older residents (55

break down isolation, increasing access to other
educational/recreational options and encouraging a better
understanding of the local Community and its resources. Classes are
based at accessible community venues across the
region.
