Café Bazaars

The Café Bazaar Multicultural Activity Group for Seniors was first established in March 2009 in the City of Stonnington as a result of extensive research, community consultation and discussion. The issue of isolation amongst CALD elderly in the Inner South emerged as a prominent concern and the need for increased social engagement opportunities was highlighted.

Planned Activity Groups

The New Hope Foundation runs Planned Activity Groups (PAG) in the Southern Metropolitan Region and on the Mornington Peninsula. These social support programs assist CALD seniors to remain living in the community by engaging in a weekly program of activities that are both culturally relevant and enjoyable.
